Dangerous Lies, when a elderly man suddenly passes away he unexpectedly leaves his estate to his new caregiver, suddenly Katie’s life is thrown upside down when she begins to question her husband and the difference between right and wrong.
Admittedly this movie is not perfect, the acting is extremely below average even for actors I have enjoyed in multiple films before (I’m looking at you Cam Gigandet), but movies can still be enjoyable with an average cast. I did actually enjoy this movie a lot, because it constantly kept me guessing – every time I thought I knew what was going on, it proved me wrong.
Does this mean there are a million plot holes – absolutely!!!
Does this mean you can’t enjoy the film – Nope!
This movie is the pure definition of ‘it is what it is’.
It’s not a bad movie, it’s not a great movie.
If you are at home wondering what to watch and you are convinced you have seen every movie ever made, this is worth a watch. With a duration of 90 minutes, you can always pick something way worse to waste time with.
Dangerous Lies is now streaming on Netflix.
